Artist Profile: Born in Barcelona and having spent time studying music in America, Oriol is now based in Cambridge, UK and signed to groundbreaking electronic label Planet Mu Recordings. Becoming a regular at the CDR nights at London’s Plastic People, a breeding ground for up coming artists, ensured Oriol’s music got noticed and helped him craft his amazing debut album Night and Day, released in 2010. The album, featured in may end of year charts and pulls you into a colourful world of broken beat and soulful electro with definite nods to jazz, funk and the 1980s.
